Mariana Trancoso is a drummer and percussionist in the Greater Boston area. She is currently in her sixth semester at Berklee College of Music, where she studies music production.

Mariana performs regularly as a pit orchestra musician and as the drummer for Boston-based artists performing in Folk and R&B/Soul styles. She collaborates with a variety of theatre companies, artists, and schools throughout the Boston area.

She has performed at venues including TD Garden with the Boston College Band for the Boston Celtics, Club Passim with Boston-based artist Ella Faye, The Lilypad, and several performance spaces at Berklee College of Music.

In theatre settings, Mariana has performed in numerous middle and high school productions, first as a student and later as a hired musician, and has also worked with theatre companies during summer productions. Her theatre credits include SIX: The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and The Wizard of Oz.
